All I Want To Do

Collection(s)
Hello Dear Stranger
Composer(s)
David Robinson

This is a song about facing oblivion and having nothing on your mind but survival and the possibility of subsequent redemption. Just getting through the night, keeping safe, getting home and seeing the dawn. Almost a musical version of The Warriors! It’s the second song I wrote specifically for the band. Musically, it sounds a little like the English post-Britpop indie band sound; at least that’s what I was aiming for. I’d also just finished reading Chuang Tzu’s classic text The Inner Chapters and I think that’s where the “I’m on The Way” line that finishes each chorus comes from. You know, finding “The Way” and all that… salvation comes in myriad forms.

Here it is! The latest video offering from PlanB, the pulsating “All I Want to Do”.The clip was shot (mostly) on the recent tour of Cambodia and Laos, and captures the raw energy of live performance coupled with enough jet-setting and international intrigue to make James Bond proud.
