Brett Sody

Brett’s been a full time, professional audio engineer, mixer and producer for 30 years; 20 at Sodypop Norwood and 10 at Krell Studios Hindmarsh. His 2016 Hall of Fame Induction for 25 years of “Unquestioned Musical Excellence” coupled with his 2000 “Most Outstanding Studio Engineer” award is the Track Record, apart from a brief tenure apprenticed to master noodle maker Lee How Fook, which ended, badly, in court and Brett being hospitalized with a grossly enlarged ego…..and all the while playing guitar, bass and chopsticks with a variety of local bands too numerous, and in some cases too dubious, to mention, save his time in legendary bands "The Sneakers" and also “Private Lives” alongside future PlanB supremo Mr. Peter Flierl. (Perhaps this is where his moniker “Sneaky Pete” originates). Brett continues to be unable to resist ‘getting back on the tools’ so to speak, with local misfits the Crusty Cowboys, the Kernels, the Nuts and the Love Mussels, all of which pales in comparison to his hopping on board the juggernaut that is PlanB, who have, perhaps unwisely, welcomed him into their bold and brassy fold.
